Resources

Many scholarly volumes on India, the majority by British authors, have been published during the past thirty years. The authors have applied an objective method as they searched through old government records, personal letters and dairies for relevant information on the Raj—the British Empire in India. Anyone interested in further reading on the history and culture of India will find the selections on the following list fascinating and very informative. They have provided me with indispensable information in understanding India.
